Yoga is a courageous journey of self discovery and self enquiry. Forget the instagram pics, or the wearing the right tights, begin your experience on the mat just as you are. Let go of the striving and the need to perform or perfect the “pose”. Be brave enough to sit with the myriad of thoughts and sensations that will arise, and soften into the stillness that resides within you. It is here within this stillness we have the opportunity to observe, and let go.

Experience an authentic yoga practice that is therapeutic in approach and carefully crafted to explore the body, the mind and the emotions, offering the practitioner an opportunity to slow down and self - enquire. These classes are for those who are ready to dive deeply and explore more than just a physical practice and for beginners who are curious to learn about the body and mind connection. Showing up and learning to love yourself and hold yourself gently is an important part of these offerings, as is cultivating a relationship with your authentic self via movement, sound, mantra and breath.

A Registered Senior Yoga Teacher with Yoga Australia, with over eighteen years experience teaching in Australia and internationally, Shelley has gained a great wealth of knowledge in the various styles of yoga. Training in Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Somatic Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Trauma Informed, and Hatha Vinyasa. Shelley weaves her knowledge of the Ayurvedic Principles and Anatomy and Physiology throughout each class. The practice of yoga is one of great mystery and magic, let go of expectations, explore, observe, feel, and come home.

Classes are suitable for all levels with modifications offered throughout each class.
